Data Sources and Verification

Hytale Server Tools uses several source types, but they do not carry equal weight.

Official sources

Primary sources include:

• The Hytale Server Manual for installation, authentication, ports, files, backups, updates, and supported server behavior.
• Official Hytale news and patch notes for release and pre-release changes.
• Hytale Support for account, connection, and platform guidance.
• Official account, server-profile, Maven, and download services linked by Hytale documentation.

These sources take priority for supported commands, current defaults, compatibility requirements, and developer statements.

Reproducible testing

Original testing is useful for command output, operating-system behavior, firewall rules, configuration examples, update workflows, backup restoration, and tool calculations. Tests should record the date, patchline, server build, Java version, and operating system.

One successful test is not proof that a setup works on every host, network, or patchline. Pages should identify important assumptions.

Community reports

Community reports can reveal new crashes, plugin conflicts, networking edge cases, and undocumented changes. They are treated as investigation leads until reproduced or supported by a primary source.

Hosting providers and products

Prices, locations, hardware descriptions, refund terms, and control-panel features may come from provider pages. Those are provider claims and can change without notice. The site does not describe a service as hands-on tested unless that testing occurred.

Reporting outdated information

Submit the page URL, patchline, server version, and supporting evidence through the contact page. Remove authentication material and other secrets before sharing logs or configuration.
